Once you have an idea of your topic check out the domain name search tool on the 1and1 home page to start searching for your domain name. Try to pick a short, easy to remember domain name which uses one, two, or even three important keywords for your topic. A rule of thumb is adjective-noun; for example myopic + eyes = www.myopiceyes.com ; of course so many adjective-nouns are taken that just researching your name is a time-consuming endeavour. Some people add 'the' or 'my' or 'best' to make a three word name. The smartest thing to do is sit down with paper and pen and start jotting down words which relate to your site idea.
